Buy a reliable phone case

There are plenty of phone cases available in the market right now but be wary of the quality because some of these provide little to no support at all.

Before choosing which case to buy make sure to properly feel the quality of it, make sure that it is sturdy enough to protect your phone in case it drops. Phone cases are also a good way to personalize your phone.

Equip a screen protector

Although Apple markets iPhones as being equipped with the toughest screen such as Gorilla Glass, you can’t go wrong with putting on some additional protection. Screen protectors will save you tons of money in the long run. Having your screen repaired is much more expensive and sometimes, impossible to replace.

Clean your charging port

One of the most overlooked parts of the iPhone is its charging port. Throughout the lifespan of your phone, dust, dirt and other unpleasant stuff build up on your charging port. If your port is clogged with these things it could get in the way of your phone’s ability to charge.

To clean your charging port, grab a toothpick and gently pick out the different debris that has been building up inside. Make sure to do this carefully so that you won’t damage any parts of your port.

Delete your unused apps

Taking care of your phone does not end with the hardware. Owners should also be responsible for taking care of the software of their phones. One of the things that you can do is to delete the apps that you’re not using anymore.

This maintenance tip helps your phone perform at its best and it helps free storage for your additional files. Plus, you can always re-download these apps in the app store if you need them again.

Update to the latest operating system

These updates usually contain the fixes for the various bugs that you’ve been encountering on your phone. Being updated with the latest operating system also lets your phone perform better and have longer-lasting battery life.
